Splash Pad Information

Season: The splash pad is a seasonal amenity and typically opens May 1st each year, weather permitting.

Family-friendly water fun during warm weather. Please review the rules and operating instructions below before using the splash pad.
Rules
- Splash pad is unsupervised. Use at your own risk. City of Gatesville is not responsible for injuries.
- Non-service animals are prohibited.
- Changing diapers within 6 feet of the water feature is prohibited.
- Keep swim diapers on children who are not toilet trained.
- Use of the water feature is prohibited if ill with a contagious disease.
- Do not drink water from the water feature.
- Use of the water feature is prohibited when ill with diarrhea.
- Children must have adult supervision at all times.
Operating Instructions
The splash pad is activated by bumping the activator post. It is vibration sensitive (not pressure sensitive). One bump starts a 5-minute program that turns on and off various water features.
Continuing to push the activator will not affect operation. Within the last minute of the program, or when the program finishes, bump the activator once to restart the program.
