Utility Service Information
Please submit the following information in person or by email (form attached below) to the Utility Billing Department at water@gatesvilletx.com for water, sewer, and garbage connection.
Required Documents and Information
- Copy of the Lease or Purchase Agreement (Document must show name of occupants/owners and address)
- Copy of your Driver’s License
- Your contact phone number
- Your employer’s name
- Your employer’s phone number
- Deposit of $50.00 Water / $50.00 Sewer / $50.00 Garbage (Option to waive deposit with a 12-month letter of credit)
- Turn-on fee: $22.00 (non-refundable)
Once all items listed are received, your account will be set up and we will call you for a deposit of up to $150.00.
Transfer Water Service
To transfer your water service, please email your new purchase or lease agreement and a photo ID (driver’s license or passport) to water@gatesvilletx.com.
Cancel Service
To cancel service, please call the Water Department at 254-865-8951 extension 101 or 103, or visit Gatesville City Hall in person at:
