Get Water Connected
Please submit the following information in person or by email (form attached below) to the utility billing department for water, sewer and garbage connection.
- Copy of the Lease or Purchase agreement: (Document must show name of occupants/owners and address)
- Copy of your Driver’s License
- Your contact phone number
- Your employer’s name
- Your employer’s phone number
- Deposit of $50.00 Water/$50.00 Sewer/$50.00 Garbage (Deposit option to waive with a 12 month letter of credit)
- Turn on fee $22.00 (non-refundable)
Once all items listed are received your account will be set up.
Payment can be made over the phone with a debit/credit card for Residential or Commercial accounts or you can bring the documents and pay in person at City Hall 803 East Main Street.
If you do not get a call back on the same day, please call our office at 254-865-8951. Services can be turned on the same day as long as payment is made by 4:00pm.
By processing your payment, you agree that the City of Gatesville or its agents, representatives, or attorneys may use any phone numbers, wireless devices or email addresses you have submitted to contact you by direct or automated dialing equipment with live or pre-recorded messages for collection purposes.
Residential trash service within the City limits is provided by Waste Management.
Commercial customers need to contact Waste Management to start service.
