Coryell County Genealogical Society

The Coryell County Genealogical Society was formed in March 1979 . Are you curious or have a deep desire to know who you are and where your ancestors lived?  The Coryell County Genealogical Society may be the place for you.  We meet at the Gatesville Public Library, located at 111 N 8th Street, Gatesville, Texas. 

The Gatesville Library has an extensive genealogy collection available to the public.  If you have a question or just want to come and take a look, we welcome your interest.  We have resources pertaining to local, state, national and world genealogy.

Membership is not required to attend our meetings but we would love to have you as a member.  We have great camaraderie and enjoy the exchange of information at our meetings.  In the past we have hosted some great guest speakers, including some of our very own CCGS members, to address the membership.

We currently meet on the second Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September and November. Visitors and new members are always welcome.  To become a member, download our application form at the bottom of the page and send to :
