Gatesville City Pool Rules

• All patrons must shower prior to using the pool
• Swim diapers must be worn by all patrons who are not toilet trained
• Children 12 and under must be accompanied and cared for by a responsible person 16 years old or older
• Children under 5 must have a responsible person in the water with them
• Office telephone is for emergency use only
• Rain checks may be issued to patrons admitted within 30 minutes of closer if pool closes due to storm or equipment malfunction
• No pets
• No denim, thongs, Speedos, or cut offs allowed in pool
• No glass containers, alcoholic beverages or drugs
• No smoking or use of tobacco products
• Smoking is permitted only in designated area outside the fence line
• Trash must be deposited in designated receptacles
• The City of Gatesville and staff are not responsible for personal property or valuables
• No profane language, running, or rough housing
• No spitting, blowing nose, or urinating in pool
• No public display of affection
• No chairs within 6 feet of the pool side
• Non swimmers must remain in shallow water
• Toys, balls, inner tubes, inflated boats and rafts permitted at managers discretion
• Wading pool is restricted to children 5 and under, children must not be left unattended
• Patrons must go down slides feet first
• Lifeguards have the authority to enforce all pool rules
• Patrons may be dismissed from the facility at the discretion of pool management
• No patrons over 250lbs permitted on diving board or slides

Diving Board Rules:

• Diver must be able to swim unassisted
• No personal floatation devices allowed on diving boards
• One diver at a time
• Be sure diving area is clear before diving
• One bounce only
• Dive straight off board
• Do not swim underneath the diving board
• No open swimming in the diving well
• No flips of any kind

*Family season passes will be sold to those families with 2 or more members. These members must be husband/wives, and/or dependent children who are 20 years of age or younger. All family members must be living in the same residence as the membership holder.
